This popcorn is one of my family’s all-time favorite snacks. It harkens from my flowing skirt and vegan Birkenstock days. I don’t know how it came into my life, but I’m sure glad it did! It. Is. So. Good. If the ingredient list looks like a science experiment to you, don’t worry, these items are all natural and are readily available at your local natural foods market and in most large grocery stores. You might want to stock up–this healthy, fiber-rich snack can be addictive! It’s packed with B-vitamins, including B12, from the nutritional yeast, and naturally-occurring iodine in the sea vegetables (kelp or dulse). Popcorn is a great snack to go for when you’re feeling munchie and want to indulge in a larger portion.

  1. Pop popcorn in an air popper. Spray with Bragg’s Liquid Aminos. Sprinkle generously with nutritional yeast. Shake dulse flakes over popcorn, followed by a few cranks of fresh ground black pepper. Enjoy!

Don’t have an air popper? You may want to consider this addition to your kitchen. They are inexpensive make a nutritious snack in just a couple of minutes. We use ours all the time! You can also pop your popcorn in a pot on the stove, then add toppings.
