  1. In a food processor, grind 4 cups of quick oats to powder. Set aside. Grind walnuts in a food processor until they are finely chopped.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground oats, remaining quick oats, walnuts, brown sugar and spices. Store in an airtight container.
  3. To prepare, combine 1/3 cup oatmeal mix with 1/3 cup boiling water. Stir to combine, then allow to sit for one minute until the water is absorbed. Enjoy!
